Scaffold training

In the state of California, all scaffold users must be trained in the hazards associated with scaffold use. Rolls Scaffold proudly offers both user USER training courses and INSPECTON training courses.

User Training

Scaffolds are provided for all work that cannot be done safely by employees standing on permanent or solid construction at least 20 inches wide, except where such work can be safely done from ladders.

It’s every employer’s responsibility to establish, implement, and maintain an effective Injury and Illness Prevention Program in accordance with section 3203 of the General Industry Safety Orders. In addition, each employer must provide training and instruction to all new employees and all employees given new job assignments for which training has not previously been received.

All users must be trained in the proper use of the scaffold. In support of our partners, we offer USER training on the last Friday of every month. The trainings are conducted at our headquarters in Ventura, California which includes:

  • Fall
  • Falling Object
  • Electrical Hazards
  • Load Carry Capacity

Pricing starts at – $150.00 per person

Inspection Training

A class in session.

Prior to the presence of its employees, employers must make a thorough survey of the conditions of the site to determine, so far as practicable, the predictable hazards to employees and the kind and extent of safeguards necessary to execute the work in a safe manner. A competent person is required to inspect the scaffold prior to every work shift. A competent person, as defined by CAL OSHA, is someone who is capable of identifying existing and predictable hazards in the surroundings or working conditions which are unsanitary, hazardous, or dangerous to employees, and who has authorization to take prompt corrective measures to eliminate them.

We are here to help, and offer Inspector training several times throughout the year based on demand. The trainings are conducted at our headquarters in Ventura, California, providing a solid base for safe scaffold inspection.

Pricing starts at – $350.00 per person
